I do not make art to comfort or decorate. I make it to remain present before what cannot be easily explained, to fragment complexity, and to confront what human beings often leave unexamined. Each painting is not an answer, but a suspended attempt to stay with what resists conclusion.
Art becomes weaker when it is confined to niches that make it easier to classify. What interests me is its ability to remain open enough to carry complexity across different contexts, without reducing it to a single theme, identity, or audience.
